Capability

The Type III Poseidon barrier will stop small boats 5-10 meters long traveling at high speed, greater than 40 knots weighing approximately 10,000 pounds with payload.In addition to this the barrier will have the capability to carry underwater netting and sensors to effect the delay and capture of underwater threats.

Survivability

Type I and Type II barriers are outdated technologies. Sitting high above the water’s surface exposed to wind and wave loading. The Type III Poseidon's low profile is not affected by environmental conditons offers improved visibility and payload capability.

Scalability

Poseidon is a scalable structure; Due to its modular construction the actual physical dimensions or arrangements of Poseidon can also be altered offering wider and longer sized units utilizing the same building blocks. Multiple Poseidon units can also be linked together physically and by creating a sensor network.
